I obtained one of the new-style starters off an '88 Dakota V6.

When installed on the slant six, the terminals are not in the same position, but are clocked toward the block so that the wiring does not reach.

Is this true of all the new denso starters?

Is there any way to change the clock, or will I need to extend the wires?
