Ok, so I have suddenly gotten the problem of when my car is running and I turn the headlights on it pops one of the 20amp fuses and the car dies on the spot. Any responses would be nice. Am I looking at a voltage regulator? I have class tomorrow in the afternoon and i have to drive to Salem. Thanks in advance, Seth |

No, it's not the voltage regulator. Sounds like you have got a big, serious short circuit in your wiring. I sincerely wish you good luck in finding and fixing it. |

First investigate if the connections to amp gage can be made fast, or rather tight; double nutting may be necessary. If not able to repair, pull off both leads from amp gage, and tightly nut & bolt them together. Than tape that connection up real good so it dose not ground out on anything. |

Ok, the problem is specific to the headlights, park lights work fine, but when its running and I put the headlights on all the way I am popping 30 amp fuses. What should I check? Headlight switch? Dimmer switch? Oh and when I would press the dimmer switch sometimes the low beams wouldn't come back on, just trying to tell you guys everything that is wrong. |

Nevermind I found it. One of my headlight switch wires had rubbed partially and was touching metal. Thanks for the help guys |
