can I remove my lifters without pulling the head on a 1970 slant six.. |

Yes, unless a 1975-'80 cylinder head has been installed. |

yes at the valve stem top when when hot..they were very loose on 3 of them. we have had 11 drivers slant's over the years currently only 2. |

well your assuming that i have taken apart a slant six or know what one is supose to look like.. my past has been chevy 427 /mopar 440 big blocks and flathead/knucklehead/panhead/shovlehead Harleys this is my first slant six fun project all others were reliable drivers |

i not assuming you've done anything... thats why i asked if you have lashed it...my past has been chevy 427 /mopar 440 big blocks and flathead/knucklehead/panhead/shovlehead Harleys this is my first slant six fun project all others were reliable drivers because you can see the pushrod sitting on top of the lifter... right below where you turned the adjuster... |
