I've just replaced the old gas tank in my pickup with a 22gallon circle track fuel cell from Summit. It's mounted in the rear below the bed, It came with a rollover valve for the tank vent. My qusetion is there a better way to vent fumes than just a short section of hose like the truck came from the factory in 78. Iv'e seem to remember later modles used a charcole canister to collect vapers when parked then because it was in the engine compartment it would warm up and vent those fumes to the air cleaner I can't remember if there is any check valves needed in case of backfire. I shouldnt need this to pass DEQ but think it would be greener and may appease a grumpy tester. any thoughts welcome, thanks. Bruce Johnson
