The previous owner did an extremely questionable 4 speed swap on my d100 pickup. I don't even want to think about the horrors lurking between the trans and flywheel. The tailshaft bushing is wore out but before I start messing with new bushings and yokes I want to be sure I have the right length driveshaft, it looks like there is quite a bit of slipyoke hanging out of the transmission. What are the relative overall lengths (longshaft) of the a833 of and common three speeds? Thanks!

The only mention of driveshafts there was that swapping to the 833od required shortening of the driveshaft 3". Possibly the p.o used a donor driveshaft that was too short. There is 3+ inches of slip yoke extending out of the tail housing I feel like this is way too much.
