so i have a 74 dodge dart 3 speed on the tree with a 198 motor. i took the trans out for a swap to the floor. i then gave my friend my trans to put in her 77 dodge tradesman 100. the problem now seems to be the yoke that will go into to the back of the trans will not fit it also seems longer. can somebody tell me if there are any other options to making this work?

A body has a shorter tail. Only thing I know is build a longer drive shaft. If it is the same tranny I had in my Duster there is no place to mount a shifter.

This is correct, she will also need your yoke or the one from an A-904 equipped car, the truck tranny probably had the A-727/A-833 large/more splines yoke.
