anybody out there know of a place i can buy 904 trans cooler lines with correct length with correct bends iv checked out summit racing waiting on a reply from them . before i try and duplicate them my self

You can't. They're not available (and stuff like this for slant-6 cars is certainly not available from the likes of Summit! :shock:

You'll have to make your own. See here for one idea and look at Cunifer for another.

Also see here for info on the transmission filter.

thanks dan i'm a new member but have been reading the forum for a few years excellent stuff okay ' i see said the blind man' ill try it myself another question on orig lines i have end fittings that screw over adapter fitting but the new lines have fitting that screw into adapter fitting just asking it makes no diff correct other than changing they adapter at the trans and radiator right thanks pat owner of 60,61 savoy slant 6 2 doors

I know a guy who has a set of NOS cooler lines for a newer A body. 67 and later. They may do the trick.

What say ye Dan?

IIRC he has a one piece NOS fuel line for a 4 door a body too.

Nope. They're way too short and bent incorrectly for the car in question.

well while i'm waiting for lower end to come back from shop i'm doing a few thing in preparation for the final assembly.replacing the internal exspanding parking brake shoes,painting a few spots on fire wall,cleaning and painting the 2 cross members and where they attach,and installing trans cooler lines, i'm now trying the compression fittings from local parts store unfortunatly during my haste to drop trans i cut the lines about a foot from the transmission any thougths on this iv attached the orig cut ft long lines to tranny plus compression fitting once transmission and block are in the car and tighten down ill finish the orig cut lines to the radiator do they work id hate to have it all together and have it leak summitracing shows transmission line for 62,63 plymouth slant 6 904 i'm wondering if they would work how much further or closer can the radiator be compared to my 61 for 30somthin bucks it maybe worth a try thanks again pat

Mmm…maybe and maybe not. They're showing the same part number no matter whether you specify a \6 or V8 engine, which makes me very dubious.

im in process of buying a dodge i may be selling zero rust zero rust cal black plate 60 2 door slant 6 push button savoy engine tranny rebuilt slight cam for 15 and the 61 savoy 2 door slant 6 mint mint perfect interior rebuild slant 6 and 904 a little rust but nothing bad for 15 also murphthesurf442@aol.com but but im not into jumpin through hoops u want it get it he who hast makes wast

um yea i love it i drive most weekends i prefer over an orig 65 442 4 speed with 77 k love the slant 6 i love blastin from light to light. no better feeling other than punchin it on an orig 65 442 4 speed from 40 to 100 im not a great seller i really bad at selling so be aware posted not good at sellining 60,61 2 door savoys but gread at buying 64 dodge 330

um yea i love it i drive her most weekends its my perferd SLED somethin about a push button 904 i prefer the 60 or 61 push button over an orig cal black plate adult owned 65 442 4 speed with 77 k iv only put on 10 k in 10 years , love the slant 6 i love blastin from light to light. or blastin down the highway no better feeling. other than punchin IT on an orig BLACK PLATE 65 442 4 speed from 40 to 100 im not a great seller im really bad at selling so be aware "posted not good at selling" 60,61 2 door savoys check u tub i think theres a few videos of it
