i am going to be building a offroad buggy and to be to be different use a sl6 .

\Was planning on trying to geet the compresion up to the 12-13:1 and get some good low end and tq not interested in reving it to kingdom come! the thing will bee in low range any way.

i whant to run it on straight propane (hence the high compretion)

Should i just shavethe head and block and buy some forged 2.2. turbo pistons and stud the block and top and bottom end? the stock rods hold up to the cylender psi? would it bee reliable or mor race motor?

Car Model:
Start by finding a set of 7 inch (198) connecting rods. (or the aftermarket 7 inch SL6 rods)
Combine the 7 inch con rod with a flat top 2.2 piston and that will get you close to 12 to 1 CR.
Mock-up, measure & surface the head & block to "fine-turn" the compression ratio.
