The 65 Dart FSM uses a testor (assume with variable resistance) to evaluate the sender & guage.....there is no mention in the specs or writeup of the OEM stock sender desired resistance range (ie 10 to 70 ohm or whatever).

Does anyone have these figures?

My problem is the guage reads over full when completely filled & empty when it's only down 9 gallons......I try not to fill my tank to avoid spillage when full......with the current guage readout discrepancy I'm reloading every 7 gallons which is every 3 days/200 miles.

I'd also be greatly interested in this as well for a 76 Aspen if someone has the info. Buying gauges for custom dash cluster, wanna make sure I get the correct resistance.

Thanks,

I don't have the stock range, but the after market Spectre version I got is 10-85 ohms...It works OK with the stock dash gauge.

I believe the stock range is something like 10-73.
