What other vehicles can I get a non-tilt steering column from?

Caravans?

Pickups?

Anybody know?

1979-the last year of non-air bag steering wheel Dodge full size vans. No interchange with other vehicle models.

I thought that Mopar test piloted the first airbags on the last of the 80's Diplomats(88 or 89?) (1992 being the last year for no-airbag steering wheels in the Ramchargers and Jeep Cherokees).

Aha! According to Allpar, Dodge vans got air bags starting in 88. So I stand corrected. 79-87 steering columns will interchange, as long as they are from a Dodge van.

I bought my 1992 Cherokee and 1992 Ramchargers specifically because they did not have the Airbag installed (one less expensive maintenance item, or item that might go haywire if the electrical gave out one day).

thanks everybody.

I got my hopes up when I saw the turn signal switch for the junkyard column currently in it exchanged with both D-series pickups and caravans from 88-90.

ah well.
