Here is a simple little gizmo I discovered when looking up Dan Woods of “Chop Cut Rebuildâ€. One of the few North American distributors is here , search for part # EC100201. |

Ted, I clicked on the "Add to Cart" button and got this: EC100201 EASY CLCK SELF TGHTNG BAT CLMP $24.99 pr Then I emptied the cart, and bailed, UNimpressed! I've always hated those clamps that you bolt the cables onto. I believe with the insulation cut back, the conductors are wide open for corrosion to start. I've seen that green creepin' crud 4-5 inches up the cable. I much prefer these . I like overkill, it beats the snot out of NO kill. Of course YMMV! BC |

I've used them and actually had a wire fall out of the clamp... ![]() Not a good thing when it was the red wire for the main starter lead. -D.Idiot |

Put a lug on the end of the cable, then bolt the cable to the battery terminal with the bolts rather than clamp the wire with the bolts......... |
