Its a 1969 barracuda just replaced the bottom ball joint on both front wheels (I have yet to replace the top ball joint). now the driver side front wheel is still leaning in on the bottom. and was making a grinding noise driving sr8. would this because of a bad upper ball joint? or control arm pivot shafts?

Also checked the control arm bushing they were ok, and no play either in control arm bushings.

This winter i was going to add tubular upper control arms so i just wanted to do least as possible for right now.

Check the control arm mounting points to be sure that nothing has broken loose from the frame or K-frame.

"Leaning in on the bottom, and making a grinding noise when driving straight"

Pull the front wheel and hub. Check both of the wheel bearings before you move it again.

You didn't provide any pics, so we have no way of knowing how much it's leaning, nor can we hear the noise, but it's definately something to cause you to not drive it until it's fixed.

well i was going to take a pic and post it, but when i got the camera and took a few shots u cant really see it on the camera, it really isnt leaning that much at all, but it seems to be both sides, but on the passenger side we did replace the top and bottom ball joint.

"Go back to the scene of the crime" - you had to take the drums/hubs & stuff off to do the lower B/J-. I'd take things apart & see if something was reassembled incorrectly & is grinding against the inside of the drums.
