What is this canister I'm seeing? First pic is the engine compartment of a 63 Dart 270.

Second picture is the compartment of a 61 Plymouth 2DR wagon. Looks like it should have a canister in the same place held by that loop of metal.

My 63 has no such canister, and I've never seen this part before - anyone have one or know what it is?

A 61 Plymouth two door wagon? Can we see some pictures of the whole car?

The canister you are referring to is the early 904 external transmission fluid filter.

Not mine, but EXTREMELY cool, LOVE the front. Seems to me like quite a reasonable price for such an unusual car.
