carb rebuild kit and need to go thru this holley 1920
that I got from summit and find out why its cutting out
on acceleration at any speed. The manual says accelerator pump
and float.Whats the easiest way to check the float level ?

1) Remove float and put in container of gas and see if it still floats.
2) Install in carb and check using ruler per FSM.
3) No ruler, FSM? Quick and dirty way on Holley, flip it upside-down and
make sure the flat part of the float is even with the top of the bowl...

Most likely the problem is the Acc. pump.

Thanks cause tearing into carbs is a dark area for me.
Not only that but the diagram shows parts on the Acc pump
that these carbs I torn into dont have them, like the push rod
sleeve ,spring ,and bearing. The service manual did me right
for the wiring but guess I should check into the modificactions
on some components. Thanks again D cause I just moved to
Modesto Ca and these people drive crazy and look at me like
get that heap off the road..I tell you I get no respect.
