I like the military style clamps here http://www.prime4x4.com/shop/OffRoad-El ... erm001.htm and the covers that go with them. It makes it easier to make up your own cables with soldered rings on the ends. The boots also available here http://www.remybattery.com/terminal-pro ... ector.aspx Dave |

I put copper lugs on the cable. Then bolt the lugs to a brass terminal. |

I also use copper lugs on the cables. Then I bolt the lugs to a side-terminal battery. Connections remain exposed just like the good old days, but now the top of battery can be safely used as a place to set down a tool and your beer. |

I have never used those screw in clamp style terminals but I think they would work fine as long as you have the correct gauge wire.I personally use the solder type terminals,better all round in my book. |
