Hello,

I am trying to start the 74 Dart Swinger. It runs when I pour gas in the carb, but that's it. I disconnected the fuel line from the carb and cranked it a few times....no gas flow. I disconnected the fuel line from the fuel pump, and it randomly spits out gas. What could the problem be. Should I start with a fuel pump? If so, where do I get one?

A friend of mine had a similar problem with his '73 Duster. His fuel pump was bad, and the pickup in the tank was clogged.
