looks like the rat dart w/old school trans act manual valve body has no reverse. it goes into gear and kinda moves but not over a small 2 inch concrete yard rise.

plenty of fluid synthetic that looks clean.
putting on exhaust pipes/glass packs so I can street drive and see how gears work...

Did the Trans work before installing the valve body,was the low-reverse band adjusted to the correct specs for the model year trans

Don't you need to activate the trans brake to use reverse?

you know that's very possible as it was orig made 4race app ...old school. I did get a hand written note from previous owner stating something about putting it into reverse b4 activating the trans brake..will check it out.

Somtimes to reverse with the transbrake you Put it into "N" and then Push the button = "R"
