Chrysler no longer has the electronic ignition conversion for the slant. Where do I go from here. Finding a distributor is no problem or the ecu, but which balast resistor do I need and where can I find a wiring diagram to wire it properly?

Thanks,
C-dog

On the main page of this site click the articles link, there is a picture of the proper wiring diagrams. The ballast can be bought from your local autoparts store or a junkyard.

Does anyone know what kind of ignition was in a 87 dodge ram /6 truck? Is it the same electronic ignition as in the 73+ cars, the same parts?

Both the electronic ignition control and the voltage regulator on my '74 Dart Sport had some kind of sticky goo running down the inner fender. Should I replace them with similar components and hook everything back the same way, or should I consider going with some currently available ignition system? Any recommendations on which one?
