I have an '80 Vloare wagon, and over the weekend I adjusted the valves on the slant 6 in it. When I took the air cleaner housing off I found a disaster, the wiring has been butchered, the vacuum hoses unplugged and left off, and the top of the carb is loose! When I went to tighten the carb screws I discovered the holes are stripped, so I will be replacing it when I can find one (I may have one in my assortment of "stuff") but I need diagrams for the vac and wiring. If there is someone who can point me to those online that would be a big help. Thank you.

Six dollars on eBay. Can't beat that with a stick!

Helicoil will repair striped female thread. Check tool aisle at auto parts store, or Sears for common size kits.

If it were me, I would spring for the two volume set:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-DODGE-MIRA ... 3150235%26

at $24.99 to cover all the systems of the car, at least if keeping and maintaining it was in the plan.

I second the suggestion for getting both manuals. I didn't know that the car manuals had begun to be broken out into separate manuals as early as 1980. At least as late as 1986 truck and vans still had single volume shop manuals.
