Post subject:  What gear do i have?

I've bought a 68 Valiant, 4 door, in a real bad condition. The car was for many years in a wreckyard, without front window. But the engine and gear are in a good condition, i was able to start the engine just by adding some gas in the carb.
The car is fitted with a manual four speed gear, floor shifter. The car was produced in Switzerland, so i think the four speed is made for swiss or european market only these years.
Any ideas what gear type thi s could be?

[2806718] [G/RG A-833] [1967-1972] [export only] --- if this matches, gear ratios can be found on site listed below

You most likely have the A-833 if it a stock floor shift 4spd Valiant.
If not original you'll need to check the marks to see if its the direct
version or the later overdrive version.

Although there are some industrious people that could make something
else fit, but it's a lot of work...

Many thanks!
Number is 2806 720, and it is the original gearbox.
Maybe because the car was made in the plant here in Switzerland, the number is not in the mymopar.com listing.

Didn't the Brazilian/Mexican made A bodies get some kind of Borg Warner trans? Maybe its a similar deal since it was made in Switzerland?
