Any suggestions on how to install a mech. oil pressure and mech. oil temp gauge? Could I run a t fitting type setup? Or is this a bad idea?? |

The "T" will give you the Idiot light so if you don't look at the gauge should the oil pressure drop unexpectedly. The idiot light is a lot easier to notice if it should come on. Richard |

Make sure to mock it up, I had to mock up 3 oil pumps to find one that was threaded straight for the fittings to work (the first one was so far off I installed the fittings, then installed the oil pump and the angle cracked the bronze 'T' when I started to snug up the pump to the block (luckily it was a new build and on a stand). OEM pumps seem to be better/straight. -D.Idiot |
