Hello I was wondering if there were any production Slant 6 Pans with a Front Sump Produced?

Looking at Doc's Picture of the Pan collection, It seems there are many Middle And One Rear sump.

I want to Someday move the Engine in The Ruster Race car of mine back quite a Bit... A nice round number that I have kicked around in my head was 12" That would place the Pan And The steering center link In the same space.. A front Sump pan would solve all of this.. or I can Just modify or remake the one i have now..

Just evaluating options.

Thanks,

Greg

Sorry to hijack, but will a slant in a C-body, like my '71 Fury, use the same oil pan as the A- or B-body cars?

The guy I got the motor from said it was out of the pickup he had there. Used the motor but still have the pick up tube and the pan that I didn't use.

The early '60's pickup trucks used a front sump Greg.
