Can someone here confirm these brackets are the factory parts needed to make the super six set-up work on my truck. I only have ( actually still waiting too arrive ) the intake/exhaust manifold, carb and air cleaner at this point.

I have a manual trans. I can see the kickdown in the picture for the automatic, was there a different bracket for manual trans that did not have the extra provision for manual trans vehicle?

Thanks

The bracket is different, but manual super sixes are as rare as original hemi's, I can say in the car application, the auto bracket into a manual car acc. pedal application work fine just remove the kickdown pivot and your install will be complete.

to adapt a Holley 2280,, I used late 70's v8 mopar throttle cable,,
may have been off a Mirada?

much shorter than the OE 1983 D-150 cable and fit fine.

Ok I was not aware that a throttle cable needed to be changed as well?

On the cars the throttle cable is short like the 318/360 acc. cable... looks like that holds up as well for trucks....

Somebody offered me this linkage ( for a price ) it is different than what I have already pictured. They say Super six linkage, surely there could not have been more than one version or maybe there was a truck and auto?
