Hey fellow Aussie! Pretty sure the Borg Warner diff is an Australian specific part, like the email alternators, bosch dizzys and email carter carbs......all were part of making up the Australian content of our Vals. Good to see another down under member here.....just read your intro post,if you are ever looking for any bits give me a holler,I've got a 2 bbl setup for a VF as well as a few decent engine parts if you ever get stuck. Cheers! |

No, but I wish we did. They seem to hold up better than the 7.25" Chrysler axle. |

i'm going to try a rebuild using the 25 spline axles & find a good lsd center for now. i have been told to use studs for the bearing caps & also brace the inspection cover & weld 2 nuts to the bracing & run bolts through the cover & sit snug onto the bearing caps to stop cap walk. ??? old mate said he'll do it for me , so if he's offering he can go for it. |

We had some 7 1/4" rear axles here too, up until some time in '66 or '67. I have 2 VC Valiants here, 1 has the Spicer, the other the BW. |

Just did a Quick-Fuel Aluminum Billet Cover with cap Support studs on a 12 bolt. Wonder if you can get something similar. Chalk and Cheese? Sounds like apples and oranges. CJ |
