i have a serious problem with the throttle cable on my 87 dodge half ton binding up and not returning to idle. it is of course a slant equipped with a super six intake, holly 2280 and four speed.

the cable on the truck is new and a replacement i got at napa for the original cable which also binded up when i went to the super six intake. a shorter cable would probably help this situation but i really dont know what to ask for at the parts counter

all thoughts and ideas would be appreciated

I'd ask for a 1981 truck similar model to yours with the 2 barrel 225.

That would get you the correct throttle cable.
