i have a 66 valiant and the plastic inserts that hold in the headlight have disintegrated over the years. trying to find out what other years of mopars will work in my valiant before i go to the junkyard and grab the wrong ones.

I have found the plastic head light adjusters at everyplace from Autozone to Rockauto for my 83 D-150..

this may get you the part needed for your '66

Even the new ones are fragile to cracking if forced too quickly..

Those adjusters in the earlier post may well work, but I think you're gonna need to fabricate replacements for the broken pieces you have.
Old plastic eventually just crumbles - usually well after the warranty is up. I think some hobby shop sheet plastic or something similar would do well.

This is one of the times a 3D printer would be nice. Look up 3D printing, any you can find any number of shops that will make whatever you design. They'll tell you what format they need the design in, or whether they can do it for you. Watch the costs!

I had a problem with the adjusters on my '64 Valiant, but had more to work with than shown in your photos.

Ok, had a chance to think. The nylon (?) pieces are essentially nut plates or one-lug anchor nuts. I eyeballed them at 1/4-28.

I wonder if THESE could be fitted?

Just a thought ...
