Inexplicably, my fast idle adjustment screw is missing for my Holley 1945. I have looked but been unable to find somewhere on line to purchase one. I noticed that the machine screws that hold the carb body are the same width and have the same thread. Should I just go to a hardware store and find one that is really close and use that? Has anyone been in this predicament before?
I feel like the screw worked it's way out somehow. I found what may be the spring down in the engine block. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
