I want to install a modern radio in my 62 Valiant Signet. Radio fascia, knobs and buttons to make it look period.

I want to play from my MP3 and phone too.

Any ideas or info appreciated. I have seen RETRO-SOUND CLASSIC 'MODEL TWO' IN DASH RADIO on Youtube which looks ok, but very pricey.

Another option is to use a modern DIN-sized radio, build/get an enclosure for it, and mount it to the bottom edge of the dash. Here's a pic of the interior of my '64 Dodge


It's right above the transmission hump, and there's a CB radio mounted to the bottom of the enclosure.

Too many people who were born on third base actually believe they've hit a triple.

I acquired a dead A Body AM/FM radio and sent it to Tayman's (see SSDan's post above). He converted it plus it looks like brand new externally as well. Very pleased with his service.
