75 Dart, rear 10" drums brakes, have a "strut bar' between the shoes, with an oval shaped spring on the strut. It's not in any kits, and the 2 big brake distributors here in Seattle determined that it is no longer available. They all say go to the dealer. (I might). Anyone have a good part number / source for that spring? or one that works OK?

I might have one of those. Let me check my parts stash tomorrow.

Raybestos H1338. Rock auto has them closeout for less then a buck, O'reilly's website shows them in their house brand also (h1338-2). Plenty on ebay as well.

Thanks guys. Pressed for time, I was able to make a H-1336-2 work safely. Sorry I haven't been back here for a few days to reply to all, but I did order an H-1342-2 set just to see and try, but it has not arrived yet. if the H-1338's are correct, then I'll just buy a stash of new ones for stock, as our family is running 5 A-bodies with 10" rear drums. ( Reed, thanks for the offer!) :)

The H-1342-2's came. They are the exact dimensions but a slightly heavier gauge of wire making them stiffer. They would probably work, but I'll follow your lead and try a set of H-1338's for comparison.

The H-1338-2 number is the exact fit. Rockauto. Thanks all.
