Found a 87 D150 today with the radiator missing at a nearby junkyard. It has a/c p/s and p/b. And a much needed but unknown condition A904 transmission. I want to know if these components will fit in and on my 80 d150 with my 76 SL6 engine. |

If the 87 truck is a slant six, then YES! All of the above will bolt right in to your 80 truck. Sounds like a good score!Maybe buy the whole 87 truck and swap radiators with your truck? |

I am using a new universal radiator in my truck. All I did was put a 2x4 under it to make sure it wasent resting on the cross support and then i drilled the our holes needed to mount it. |

I'm using a big fat 4 pass radiator from a D 350 wrecker, and it bolted in using the factory holes. You're good to go. |

I thought '86 was the last year for the slant six? After that they launched the 3.9L with the new Dakota, and started using it in Rams as well? |

87 was the last year for installation of the slant in new vehicles. |
