 Post subject: Valve cover sucks

I was replacing a leaking valve cover gasket today and also playing with the carb. I had the air cleaner off and the breather out of the valve cover. the engine was idling and I put my hand over the hole for the breather and noticed it had vacuum is this right?

That's good.

It means you don't have excessive blow-by, as the PCV system can handle what is produced.
