A good Thanksgiving to everyone. I am replacing the oil pan and timing cover gaskets and I noticed the tabs at the rear seal cover are gone. I'm assuming the person I bought this from has already done the same so I'm wondering if they are a necessary item. Theres no signs of oil leaks around the area just the pan was leaking a little.
