Just took ownership of a 66 valiant with a single barrel, the linkage to the carb seem off. can't find any images or documents for how the pedal attaches the correct way to the linkage and via the accelerator pump linkage as well. They way it rest right now, will not work. the accelerator pump is not getting the correct travel and the opposite way of moment. (via. it drops the plunger instead of pulling it up for the gain in full on the throttle command)
Great to find a place for this awesome motors

The factory service manual shows the throttle linkage in detail. The accelerator pump being moved down by spring pressure is what squirts the fuel.

Go to the articles section of this site and review the choke adjustment article for some nice detail.
