So I was looking through some of my catologs and noticed that the '66 dident have much listed for parts. I was looking at buying this one. http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/5426442171.html
However I may stear clear if I cant get parts.

So heres my questions. 1: Is there a major differance from the '65 to the '66? Such as if I need to replace a floor pan, door skin, ect. Or can I use replacement panels off a '65?
2: Is there anything I should look for when I go look at the car? Such as missing "hard to find parts"?
3: I like the looks of the '65 but would it be better to get a '70 since parts are more available ?
Any input would help me make up my mind....

'66s are easier than earlier-year cars to get parts for.

Floor pans are the same. Doors are interchangeable back to '64. Whole front-end assemblies and whole dashboards swap among all '63-'66 A-bodies.

If all you want is a safe, running, driving car there are plenty of parts that interchange with a '66. If you want to keep your '66 pure, the front sheetmetal, tail lights, quarter panels, and deck lid are pretty much '66 only, as is most of the trim.

Ok good to know. I havent seen the car but am expecting some rust in the typical areas. I do plan on using it as a daily driver for a bit so I can fix the floor in my truck. I just wanted to make sure I wasent diving into something I cant fix...
