I was @ O'Reillys the other day looking for an HEI module and they presented me with one made by Borg Warner. I looked at it and the box says it's made in the USA. Anybody familiar with this particular module? Could this be another option? I've had the best luck with Dan's suggestion of the Echlin module currently.

Are you refering to Borg Warner, or BWD? BWD is not Borg Warner Corp. BWD brand is owned by Standard Motor Products. Years ago Standard Motor products was an excellant brand. Nowadays they leave something to be disired.

PS: History timeline of Borg Warner Corp. https://www.borgwarner.com/en/Company/H ... fault.aspx

You got me there Charlie! I don't recall what the box said on it other than made in USA. I do remember that it was the counter help that said it was BorgWarner. I'll have to stop & look @ it again.
Years ago I had two logging skidders with BW winches on them. One 9" and the other a 21". Both were extremely reliable units and over built.
