I am attempting to do a KH 4 piston swap and change the bushings. I installed the UCA's on what I thought was the correct sides, but the ball joint wasn't even close to the spindle. If I swap the UCA's to what I presume is the wrong sides, the ball joint can reach the spindle, but it's at a CRAZY angle. Where did I go wrong?

the rubber bumper and stop on the UCA should tell you if you have them on the correct side, i.e. the rubber bumper should be registered with a stop on the UCA.

You must unload the torsion bar and lift the lower control arm.

I will post pics as soon as I can, weather cooperation needed.

The torsion bars are out, so no load there

Does it matter what side the spindles are on?
