As many have announced before, the K1-Wiseco forged rod and piston combination leaves an above deck height of about 0.010-0.015.

Using a fixed number for combustion chamber volume of 58cc that leaves us with:

10.18 CR using an aussie gasket (compressed to 0.040).
9.98 CR using a 0.050 copper gasket.

My machinist said I shouldn't expect to be able to take more than a CC out of each combustion chamber by blending. Any more would end up trenching around the valve seats, causing turbulence in the valve flow.

That would get me -0.15 CR. Hypothetically.

How do I get the rest of the way for a CR of 8.5-9.0?

I run meth injection.

Double copper gasket? One flat and one with a fire ring?

Any proven combos that don't leak? (For a bit at least lol)

At one time, you could order copper gaskets that were as thick as about 0.120". That would about do it. Search for a company that can do that. Hussey and SCE are the two I remember. I have never used copper.

Ooh baby!

Thank the lord Hussey makes one in 0.120!

Leaves me at a nice 8.8 CR.

That is if I can actually get it to seal...

Hi. Why don't you just machine the top of the pistons down to get were you want your CR? I have never measure how beefy the Wiseco are on top, but beein made of 4016 if you have at least 4.5mm left you should be OK.
