I added the Woodburn race to the main racing schedule. Both East Coast and Killer Bees schedules are together.

I will be there! Hopefully with a faster car. 19.4x isn't exactly screaming, but Dave and I sure had a great run last weekend   even though I broke the car...

And for those coming in that weekend to Salem area, my car club is hosting our the 11th annual Rust-O-Rama event on the 20th at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. 1963 and older American customs and hot rods. https://www.facebook.com/events/2243410745897610/

What did you break ? I am also planning on bring a faster car.

Of course you had the faster car when we raced 19.40 to my slower time of 19.45

I haven't taken it apart yet. But my money is on valvetrain. Possibly a broken spring, lunched valve, or bent pushrod. I'll be tearing into it later this week after I get my 58 put back together. Waiting on machine shops SUCKS.

In the interest of getting it to perform better, I'll be taking the head down to a different machine shop to get it cut, and then I'm going to install beehive springs. The cam in the engine puts me almost at coil bind, with .494 and .495 lift.

I plan to be there. What with obstinate/questionable brakes and a sticky throttle my car's not up to racing or even driving, but I will watch the show.
