67 Dart with factory front disk/rear drum configuration.

Current distribution valve looks to be MD 2267 and down line to rear drums is a proportioning valve looks to be MD 2274 as shown in Classic Industry Catalog.

I ordered and received Doctor Diff's Disk/Disk distribution Valve which looks to be same device as above MD2267, and he said I did not need to install any other line pressure dropping device on rear brake circuit to feed new rear disks.

Is my current distribution block the correct device, and eliminating the down line rear proportioning valve would be all I have to do?

What rear disks are you using?

I have the 73 and up front disks and
Dr Diffs rear disk brake package and
per Dr Diffs recommendation I am
using only the OE style distribution block.

These rear disk brakes are the Ford Cobra calipers
with the small Toyota disk.

My understanding is that all (common) Mopar dist/prop blocks are just tees and have no proportioning capability. You would add an adjustable aftermarket valve in the rear line to fine tune things. I suspect that proportioning is fairly close and the tuning may not be needed, but you will have to do testing to see. The adj valves are only $40-50, so installing one would be cheap insurance.

I installed recommended rear disk & caliper used with both stage 1 & 2 kits. It uses a 1989-91Toyota Cressida vented disk, this is not the cobra set up. One of my concerns is future availability of rear disk as they are from one odd ball model used only 3 years. Also not sure what he used for rear caliper with E brake capability; it's a nice neat compact package, super simple install.

Cass emailed me sometime last night, and said to just eliminate the down line proportioning valve. So I'll return the new distribution block I had added to the initial order not remembering brake my plumbing situation. It's been 10 years (25K miles) since new everything rebuild. Memory is fading.
