Fellas,

After all of those idle issues and cam issues, the problem came down to
just simply too much camshaft. Put a cam in with about 215 degrees duration, and boy does it run good. Noticably better than stock. Now a perfect candidate for a super six conversion. Unfortunately here in the Detroit area, nothing is kept past about 7 years in the boneyards. Oh well, just glad it's running. To those of you that helped on solving this problem, thanks. I hope I can help soneone else sometime.
