I have them on my truck motor. Haven't been on there long enough to tell.

I had a valve cover gasket on my race truck. It sealed fine but after the first valve adjustment it had swelled up so much that it could not be put back on. I had the same problem with the oil pan gaskets. Nice idea in theory but failed in practice.
