I am planning on replacing my exhaust manifold this weekend. On the two outboard bolts that hold the manifolds together, is it OK to use grade 5 bolts, or should I use grade 8? Also, should I use lock washers under the heads and under the inboard nut?

Stainless steel expands more than cast iron.
