Car Model: 1964 Barracuda
Hi, I am in Australia. I have a friend in California with a 1964 Barracuda. Her son blew up the engine. She is having difficulty sourcing one, so I decided to help. Chrysler built cars in Australia from 1962 to 1980, so there a few slant 6s getting around over here. I have one and are rebuilding it. Can anyone help me as to which oil pan the slant 6s in 1964 Barracudas used? In particular, I need to know the measurement from the front edge of the sump, at the timing cover to the start of the lower pan section. Can anyone help ?

Hi Geoff,

Please repost this in the "Engine" section. I guess the engine blowup damaged the existing/stock oilpan?

Lou
