Trying to find a tank for my son's new 62. Can't seem to find anything prior to 63 anywhere. Help!

IIRC, the 63 tank can be made to work with a little fiddling. I bought a 63 tank from AMD a while back with this in mind, but I have not done this yet.

Thanks! I see reasonable prices on the 63. Looks like they made many different tanks in the early years, and they just don't make em.

Ditto on the 63 tank. You can make it work.
Just be glad you don't have a 60 or 61!

The '63 tank will get you 4 more gallons of capacity as well.

The repo fuel senders are usuall off too. F will be close but E might actually be far to the left of E on your gauge when using a repo sending unit.

A meter match unit can correct this problem.

Good luck!

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Seymour's ol' 62 has 18 gals capacity. Maybe it has a 63 tank already?

I know you had the car on my lift, but I didn't pay attention to the tank at the time.
A good picture will solve it for us.
