Trying to find a tank for my son's new 62. Can't seem to find anything prior to 63 anywhere. Help! |

IIRC, the 63 tank can be made to work with a little fiddling. I bought a 63 tank from AMD a while back with this in mind, but I have not done this yet. Lou |

Thanks! I see reasonable prices on the 63. Looks like they made many different tanks in the early years, and they just don't make em. |

Ditto on the 63 tank. You can make it work. Just be glad you don't have a 60 or 61! |

The '63 tank will get you 4 more gallons of capacity as well. The repo fuel senders are usuall off too. F will be close but E might actually be far to the left of E on your gauge when using a repo sending unit. A meter match unit can correct this problem. Good luck! |

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Seymour's ol' 62 has 18 gals capacity. Maybe it has a 63 tank already? Lou |

I know you had the car on my lift, but I didn't pay attention to the tank at the time. Seymour's ol' 62 has 18 gals capacity. Maybe it has a 63 tank already? Lou A good picture will solve it for us. |
