The d150 came this low on the front when I bought it. Is that stock height? I do know some pickups are lower in the front so when a load is on it it levels out. Just wondering in my application. Also if it's not stock height when can I do to make it higher. I plan on putting new suspension on the truck. I was gonna put the rancho RS55116 front an rear. On the information is says raised height from 0 to 2 inches, does that mean I can lift it up 2 inches? An if I do will I need new springs? I would like a little lift.

No that is not stock height. Looks lowered several inches for sure. Is it the back lowered too? Is the truck sitting pretty level? If so it was probably lowered all the way around.

And no, shocks don't hold the weight of the truck nor control the height at all.

The truck is on a level surface. The back isn't lowered. How can I raise it back up I was looking for something to raise it up and couldn't find it

Trucks that are lowered that much usually means someone has replaced the original truck Lower control arms with ones off of a van. That lowers the front end. It can't be simply raised back up without changing parts back to original.

So I'd need newer lower control arms springs and shocks?

You will have to search the swap out yourself. I'm not sure what all changes. It may just be the LCA.

Got you. I'll look into it an post back. I'll probably just replace the whole front end since it looks worn.

So when I replaced the lower control arms they where actually stock just bent and gone to crap. The shocks are spent so I'm going to have to replace those. But the springs do seem shorter 11.62 length non compressed. That could be the issue more than likely. I would like to raise 2 inches more so they are level with the back any recommendations. I saw some moogs at 12.60 but would like an extra inch.

If your goal is just to level the truck....are they any spacer blocks on the rear axle that can be removed for lower ride height? If you need the taller height I would contact "espo" they have a good rep in the old car hobby and likely can supply you with springs that will do what you need.

Your search would be for "espo springs n things"

Free length on a spring isnt the tell all. How many wraps, wire diameter, spacing between wraps, and more all play a part.
Moog used to sell "cargo coils" that had a couple of wraps of tighter (closer together) at the top and further spaced coils towards the bottom that actually sat lower than their standard replacement (which were usually "high" compared to a set of new OEM coils anyway) and worked "progressively" depending on weight that was put on them. They actually rode pretty good top.
I never got the "lowering" a truck, thing. Usually lowering ruins the look and certainly the function. But these days it's what "everyone" wants, and don't consider or care about how they ride or function. Just that they (think that they) "look cool".

You could lower the back with different shackles. I did that with mine and that way it sat almost level. The D100's always set nose down in the front.

So i might have stock coils. I was calling someone that the coils they can make 2 inches from oem height at around 378 and I'm not sure if my truck is oem height for all I know they are oem I'm just not use too seeing them this low on a pick up. Anyone has any info on them?
