I bet it will be fine @ 0.028" or so

If you want to / decide to throw it away,

Agree with Greg. If on base circle, you are good to go most likely. That should be a great cam for 10-10.5:1 or so motor.

Or a great lobe wiper. Not because of your corrosion. There was just a bad bunch of the .528 cams that wiped lobes. But you probably already knew that. I'd take some crocus cloth or similar to it an run it.
