Hello all ๐Ÿ‘‹-

I was looking for some help with my crappy Holley carburetor 1920. I looked online and donโ€™t seem to find new or Remanufactured item so it looks like I am stuck trying to mess with this one. I purchased a rebuild kit. Cleaned the whole carburetor as best as I think I did and re installed the parts. The car starts with some hesitation and eventually starts up. It idles very rough. I moved it back and forth but seems to move slower than a turtle and loud like a gas lawn mower. I tried adjusting it just by sound but no luck. Anything you experts suggest I check?
Thank you all in advance ๐Ÿ™

Have you checked anything else besides the carb? The 1920 is super simple tech, but all the units are ancient at this point. Was this vehicle a running unit in the recent past or is this a "new to you" car with an unknown history. There are lots of things that can make a slant run poorly even if the carb is in good condition. Give us some more details, the folks on this site know everything there is to know about the slant six but need good info to help.

AND PLEASE DON"T SPAM GIFS. there are a lot of people here that will ignore posts that include pictures such as those you included.
