does any one have a source for a serpentine system for a 78 slant with pwr steering and a/c -the smog pump? |

we can modify one of are dampers for the bottom pulley, plus get youmost of the other ones also, olny problem that i can see is the a/c pump and how the run a belt tensioner e-mial fishercon1@aol.com |

I've been looking around for the same. So far, I haven't found out much except that instead of a tensioner pulley, you can use an adjuster arm to tighten on the alternater to the right tension. I haven't gotten around to comparing 318 pulleys to 225's. I'm thinking something has to swap in there. |

What's the attraction behind a serpentine system? The way I look at it you loose one belt you loose every accessory instead of only some.... |

Serpentines are supposed to be less drag than V-belts. Sure you're down to one belt, but they're meant to last 50k miles. Other than that, I just like the look of them. |
