I just got a pretty good deal on rims for my '64 Dart, but I'm kinda worried about the fit. They're 14x7 Cragars with 3 3/4 inches of backspacing...I want to put 225 60/R14s will these fit on the back of the dart?

If the car doesn't sit too low, you should be OK, but it'll be a little tight. PolyU leaf spring bushings will help hold the axle better in corners and will make rubbing less likely. 215s should certainly work.

I had 14X7 with 4" backspace wheels on my '64 with 245/60-14s and they would just rub on medium/hard cornering. 225/60s never rubbed.

It sits at stock ride height right now. Well...it's got some sag in the rear springs, but I'll be replacing those with a set of 4 leafs that I got from JCWhitney. Hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks for the help.
